Queens of the Stone Age Release New Single

June 15, 2017

It’s been almost 4 years since Queens of the Stone Age have graced us with a new album, but the wait is finally over.  Today, QOTSA released their first full song titled “The Way You Used to Do” off their upcoming album, Villains.  Contrary to what it seems, this isn’t the first preview of the album that we’ve heard so far.  QOTSA actually released a trailer for their eighth album, in which they announce the title and play a snippet of the first track “Feet Don’t Fail Me”.  In case you missed it, check it out below:

Now everyone can agree this is one of the greatest album announcements of 2017.  The production on the video alone is of high caliber, so we can infer that the album will be even better!  Especially since Villains is produced by Mark Ronson (AKA the genius behind Uptown Funk).  So far, QOTSA’s “The Way You Used to Do” is spreading like wildfire in new and old fans.  With a rockin’, bluesy-swing vibe, this first full single is clearly laying the foundation for an impressive album.  In fact, QOTSA state right there in the video that Villains is “Honestly the best album ever”.

Listen to “The Way You Used to Do” below to get pumped for the full album release on August 25th!
